Pupils from the Mead School in Tunbridge Wells had the chance to meet with The Earl and Countess of Wessex recently, when they visited the town as part of their Diamond Jubilee Tour.
The whole school was invited to greet the royal couple as they walked along the historic Pantiles, where scores of well wishers had flocked to see them.
Amid a sea of flags, over 150 pupils caught a glimpse of the Earl and Countess, as they mingled and chatted with the crowds.
Olivia Maltby, age 5, presented the Earl with a picture of the Queen she had drawn and asked him to pass it on to her. He assured Olivia he would and that she would be delighted!
