A new survey by ASDAN Education reveals that the gap between the classroom and the workplace continues to be of concern to many employers.
The ASDAN Employment and Skills Forum, a committed group of employers and educationalists, has surveyed a variety of critical issues around employability and schools. The survey, published on 1 Oct 2012, reinforces the need for educators to consider the wider education of young people, and not just focus on traditional academic assessment.
It also suggests that children should be introduced to the concept of employability skills in Prep School, and underlines the importance of sport and other enrichment activities.
