On Wednesday 7th May, 211 competitors, from 20 ISA Schools, arrived at Lucton School bright and early to compete in ISA’s first ever Triathlon supported by British Triathlon.
The competitors, aged between 8 and 16 years, competed across 5 different age groups throughout the day. Each competitor wore an electronic chip, provided by Race Timing Solutions, which timed their overall race whilst also providing split times for the swim, cycle, run and transition zones.
The race official from British Triathlon, Michelle Mahiques-Pearce, was extremely impressed with the attention to detail that both Lucton School and ISA Sport had gone into in order to make this event hugely successful, especially with regards to Lucton’s chaperones and marshals, all of which had been given important duties for the day.
A huge thanks to all schools who entered this event. All of the results can be found by clicking here. To browse and buy pictures from the event, taken by DE Photos, please click here. The event code is “hide”.
