Head Teacher Scales Heights for Charity

12th September 2014

The Head Teacher of Ditcham Park School in Hampshire raised over £1,400 for Macmillan Cancer Support during the summer holidays – by scaling the UK’s highest peaks in just 3 days.

Andrew Rowley climbed Snowdonia, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in just under 66 hours- cycling between each mountain, and covering an average of 144 miles each day.

He was moved to undertake the challenge after losing a relative to cancer – and was joined on his endeavour by friends (pictured here.)
