Two Bronze Medal’s for Bridgewater’s Katie Matts

Katie Matts from Bridgewater School Manchester was recently successful in the 5th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships held in Singapore. The Championships is a biennial competitive event for 500 swimmers aged between 14 and 18. Katie was awarded bronze in both the 100m breaststroke and 50m breaststroke. Katie achieved a personal best in the 100m race with a time of 1:07.77; this is a phenomenal achievement. Well done Katie!
