Saturday morning was a beautiful, cold and frosty day at Ditcham Park School, setting the atmosphere for families and friends of the school to enjoy festive fun in the Christmas grotto, and a school filled with colourful stalls and games.
Pupils from the choir gathered in the main entrance hall to entertain fayre-goers with Christmas carols around the tree and whilst they were busy in the Christmas Shopping Village. Younger children enjoyed the bouncy castle, Christmas Pudding Rodeo and trying their luck on the yuletide themed tombolas and games, including ‘Pin the tail on the Reindeer’ and ‘The Human Bauble Machine’. Seasonal refreshments were provided in Santa’s Tearoom and Santa’s Christmas Cafe, with guests soaking up the festive atmosphere.
The funds raised by The Friends of Ditcham Park School will contribute towards exciting projects, to enhance the students’ education and extra-curricular activities.
The fayre signifies the start of the school’s Christmas celebrations of carol concerts and a nativity play to commemorate the festive season.
