Teachers recognised (and surprised!) for oustanding service to ISA Sport

15th December 2016

Awards for loyal and distinguished service to ISA sport were awarded recently to Rob Larkman (Trinity School, SW) and Angela Davies (Hull Collegiate School, N). Both Rob and Angela have worked tirelessly for the Association as their respective area sports’ coordinators; organising the regional programmes, helping to deliver and run national tournaments and attending National Sports Committee meetings. In 2012, they were both heavily involved with the ISA ‘Festival of Sport’ held at Nottingham University which proved such a success for over 950 pupils and school staff who attended. ISA is immensely grateful to both teachers for their immense enthusiasm and commitment to the development of the sports programme. Rob and Angela received the awards at their schools from Roger Brierly, National ISA Ambassador for Sport, in assemblies carefully coordinated for a total surprise. They both expressed their sincere thanks and said how much they had enjoyed helping the development of ISA sport and giving so many opportunities for children to participate in school, regional and national level sporting events.rob-larkmanangela-davies
