Park School’s ‘Culture Day’ success

17th March 2017

The Year 11 Charity Committee organised a ‘Culture Day’ on 6 March.

The idea was to have fun while learning about other cultures and raising money for Human Appeal, which supports refugees fleeing from war zones – the charity they are fundraising for this year.

Students and staff wore clothes that were traditional to their culture and brought food to school that was typical of their culture.  It was a fantastic day filled with beautiful, colourful outfits, wonderful sweet and savoury food and lots of fun and laughter.

The day raised over £460 for Human Appeal.  Well done and thank you to everyone that supported the day!
