Ballard School Highly Commended In National Education Business Awards

Waving the Hampshire and Dorset flag, Ballard School in New Milton has been highly commended in the STEM category of the national Education Business Awards.

New Milton based independent school, Ballard, has been recognised among the best schools in the country for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) at the Education Business Awards 2018. Now in their 12th year, the Education Business Awards recognise schools across the UK for improving the standard of education and the life chances of their students.

Ballard School has built a reputation for nurturing young talent and encouraging students to develop everyday life skills, alongside their academic development from a very early age. One of five shortlisted finalists, Ballard was commended for excelling in the provision of a first-class environment for teaching STEM subjects. Ballard School has been noted for delivering STEM subjects in an exciting and fun way, encouraging students to develop a practical problem-solving approach in relation to realistic outcomes. Ballard also engages its pupils with the wider community, taking part in events that nurture pupils’ skills, giving them the opportunity to work with, and compete against, pupils from other schools.
