The Ursuline Preparatory School, Brentwood were delighted to be rated in The Sunday Times’, ‘Parentpower Top 20 Prep Schools in the Country’, being placed this year at 19th. They remain the only school in the East of England that has been in the top 100 prep schools since the table was initiated approximately 18 years ago, which highlights the consistency of their academic success.
The school believe tat this is achieved because the children feel safe, secure and challenged within their learning environment. This can be attributed to the incredible amount of time, effort and energy the staff give to every single child in the school and the wonderful support mechanism that they have from the governors, trustees and their parents.
The children have amazed Mrs Wilson, Headmistress as, not only have they performed outstandingly academically, but also have participated fully in many other aspects of school life such as music, drama, physical education and charitable works. The aspect, however that gives Mrs Wilson the greatest pride is the fact that The Ursuline Preparatory School is a non-selective school and that the children still achieve these standards.
The Headmistress would like to thank and congratulate the staff and children alike for the hard work and commitment that is shown each and every day to achieve these outstanding results.
