Ursuline Preparatory School (Brentwood) – National ISA Swimming Champion

7th December 2018

After successfully competing in the Regional ISA (Independent Schools Association) Swimming competition, three children from The Ursuline Preparatory School, Brentwood attended the National Gala, held at the London Aquatic Centre, where they represented East Anglia.

Ross T (year 6) and Rosie Q (year 4) both swam in relay races, Ross came 6th in the medley and freestyle and Rosie came 6th in the freestyle.

Selina G (year 4) swam in both the 50m breaststroke and backstroke races. She swam exceptionally well, taking bronze in the breaststroke and gold in the backstroke.

The backstroke race was incredibly close with Selina managing to win in the last stroke, much to the delight of her family and Mr Lewis, Head of PE.

Mrs Wilson, Headmistress is very proud of all three children that competed at a National level, but is especially delighted with Selina now being a National Swimming Champion.
