October #ISAartistofthemonth 2019

18th November 2019

We are very pleased to announce our October 2019 Artist of the Month Winner! All the nominees were truly inspiring and we are always in awe of their achievements. This month’s winner is Elisa from Instituto Espanol Vicente Canada Blanch, huge congratulations to Elisa!

Elisa is a young artist in Year 12 currently studying at Instituto Espanol Vicente Canada Blanch. During the summer of 2019 one of her painting was selected and exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London as part of the Next Generation BP Portrait Award. Elisa spends a significant part of her spare time improving her style and learning new artistic techniques. She also maintains a blog with a portfolio of her artistic creations.

The Artist of the Month competition, is a monthly rolling event on the ISA Arts Twitter page @ISAartsUK , for teachers to nominate a pupil with outstanding contributions to the arts both in and outside of their school. We received some fantastic nominations this month, and would like to congratulate all of our nominees and shortlisted artists for all their achievements; the dedication and hard work have been so inspirational to see. ISA Schools should be very proud of their pupils.
