The Sunday Times recently published their Parent Power Guide for 2021, which identifies the 600 highest-achieving primary and prep schools in England ranked by their most recent examination results.
Of the 70 schools in ‘The Top Independent Preparatory Schools’ table, an outstanding 5 out of the top 10 are ISA Members. Congratulations to St Martin’s Prep School, Seaton House School, Ursuline Prep School, Highfield Priory School and Carleton House Prep School.
Overall, 28 out of the top 50 schools, and 40 out of the full 70 schools, are ISA Members. A big well done to all those included, you can view the full results here.
We were also delighted to see Ursuline Preparatory School awarded this year’s ‘Prep School of the Year’. As part of the review, The Times said:
“The school’s ethos, strongly centred on its Catholic heritage, is to strive for excellence in all aspects of life and to be kind and caring.”
“Every class has a teaching assistant and there is a special needs team to support about 20 pupils who require extra assistance. The school keeps close tabs on pupils’ progress and regularly analyses work to see where improvements need to be made”
Pauline Wilson, Head at Ursuline Prep School commented to ISA: “I am absolutely delighted and take great pride in accepting this award on behalf of The Ursuline Preparatory School.
As a non-selective school, where the children are not accepted on academic ability, we strive to celebrate and discover their unique strengths that allows them to become the very best of themselves.
With the backing of our dedicated Trustees, the support of our Governors and an incredible professional team of staff, receiving this accolade is the culmination of a lot of hard work and commitment from every member of my team.”
Congratulations to all at Ursuline Prep School for this outstanding achievement.
