We are pleased to be able to announce our Autumn 2020 Athlete of the Term Winners! Following some truly inspiring and impressive achievements, our winners stormed to victory on our Twitter page. This Term’s winners are Jessica from Red House School, and Daniel from Oakfields Montessori. Congratulations to both very worthy winners!
Jessica has championship status in both netball and football with girls 2 years her senior, she is an online trainer for her school and club using video tutorials, and is also part of the U17 Leeds Rhinos Development pathway. She has ambitions to play for England one day. Jessica is a fantastic role model for her peers and younger pupils at the school.
Daniel is an extremely talented and exceptional scholar athlete at his school who always gives 110%. Daniel has recently been awarded school sports captain, selected for Havering Schools county football team, and his local athletics club. There is not a sport that Daniel does not excel at, as well as being an extremely likeable and thought of student at the school.
The Athlete of the Term competition is a termly event on our Twitter page. Teachers can nominate two pupils with outstanding contributions to sports both in and outside of their school. We received some fantastic nominations this term, and would like to congratulate all of our nominees and shortlisted athletes for all their achievements this term; the dedication and hard work has been so inspirational to see. ISA schools should be very proud of their pupils.
