Two Year 5 pupils from Bronte School, Gravesend, have been chosen as joint overall winners in their age category in the Oxford German Olympiad.

This is a most impressive achievement as Tommy and Temilola had to fight off stiff competition from hundreds of schools across all of the UK. Furthermore, all of their hard work for the competition took place during lockdown so they had to demonstrate even greater independence and self-motivation to produce such wonderful entries.

This year the awards ceremony in the Bodleian library in Oxford will take place virtually and Tommy and Temilola are very much looking forward to attending.

Huge congratulations to both of these talented Bronte linguists!
