Pupils from Ipswich High School, a leading co-educational day and boarding school in Suffolk, are celebrating record-breaking A level results today. 25% of the Year 13 students achieved 3 or more A* grades.
Teachers and students alike are thrilled with the 100% pass rate achieved. Across the cohort 40% of grades were marked at A*, 66% gained A*-A and 89% achieved A* – B. These are remarkable results in the face of considerable challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mark Howe, the school’s Head, said “These outstanding A level results are a true testament to the remarkable combination of our amazing Year 13 students, our supportive parent body and the inspirational teaching they have enjoyed, both in school and during periods of remote learning. I hope these students are as proud as we all are of their success, which they have achieved in the face of considerable challenges.”
