While A level, GCSE and vocational results are out this week, we also celebrate IB Diploma students who recently received their results. At ACS Hillingdon in west London, IB Diploma candidates achieved a 100% pass rate, with average points scored of 38 (equivalent to more than 4 A*s at A-level). The highest score by one of its students was 45 – the highest possible in the IB Diploma Programme.
For comparison, globally, the IB pass rate was 89% and the global average points scored this year was 33.
Martin Hall, Head of School, said, “We’re so proud of our students, achieving brilliant academic results while navigating the various challenges thrown at them during the last couple of school years. They’ve graduated as talented and hugely resourceful global citizens, ready to succeed on whatever path they choose.
“Best wishes to all students and schools receiving results this week and praise to our fellow educators nationwide who consistently show such professionalism and care towards our students.”
