Following outstanding A and AS results on Tuesday this week, Thursday also proved stunning success for this special school.
All year 11, 12 students completed their GCSE studies, averaging eight GCSEs per person, all level 5 and above including Maths, English and a MFL.
All year 10 students completed their first six GCSEs, including MFL, English and Maths, all achieving level 4 and above.
66% of the overall results were level 7-9, with 30% level 9.
Wemms is a school for able students who have been unable to cope with mainstream school and who have overcome many challenges to complete their GCSE studies (accounting for why a number of students take GCSE in year 12).
Parents, staff and students are thrilled with these results.
