A Cappella Competition

The phrase a cappella, Italian for ‘in the manner of the chapel’, has a religious connotation, though the discipline has grown and changed since those words were coined. From early twentieth century barbershop quartets to today’s popular film franchise Pitch Perfect and multi-platinum selling group Pentatonix, a cappella is now a pervasive and varied music style with widespread appeal. Open to all ages, this competition is set to be a new challenge for music students to produce a vocally charged performance.

*Please note this event has a limited number of spaces, don’t delay your entry if you wish to take part.

With soaring vocals, stellar set pieces and mind-bending improvised numbers they are taking the world of entertainment by storm – and all without instruments! They have won multiple awards in the world of a cappella music and have had over three million views on their YouTube channel.
