The ISA National Art Competition is held annually. It is a wonderful opportunity for schools to showcase their pupils’ art and for teachers to share best practice and ideas. There are dozens of classes to cover different age groups and genres, from traditional 2D art, through to fashion and photography. Click on the following link to view The ISA Art handbook 2019

2018 ISA National Art Finals Results
A word from the judges:
“I thought that the artworks were of a very high quality and I enjoyed the judging process immensely. I thought it was great. So nice to see such creativity from the children“. Brian Scholes (Culture Coventry)
“Have to say, the quality and originality of work on show was excellent – I particularly loved that the competition included representations from all school age groups, not just exam level. As a curator of spaces, I know just how difficult it is to get audiences to connect with culture – but the vibrant mix of drawing, painting, photographs , scrapbooks, textiles, ceramics and fashion on show today really captured the imagination. Well done all!“. Alan Denyer (designer/property developer – founder of CETPOPUP)
Thank you to our sponsor Arts Award for supporting the competition this year.
Pupils’ Choice Award
Through the images of the winners from the National Art competition 2018, pupils can vote for their three favourites art pieces collectively.
This might be done through an art club or student council or similar.
Only one vote per school will be accepted.
The vote is now closed. The results will be announced after the Easter Break.
