Former headmaster Woodbridge School, Suffolk. Reporting Inspector for ISI.
I retired in 2014 after 21 years as headmaster of Woodbridge School, Suffolk, a co-educational day school with sixth form boarding. I am chairman of governors of an IAPS school, and chair the governors’ education committee of three Free Schools. From 1980-1994 I was head of science and boarding house master at Merchant Taylor’s School, Northwood having taught in the state sector in Coventry and at Wellington College. For eight years I was Chairman of the HMC Inspections sub-committee and on the ISI board, and have undertaken over 30 inspections (including South America, China and the Caribbean). I am now a Reporting Inspector for ISI. I have an MA in educational management focusing on pastoral care, and am part of the Diocesan review team.
