ISA National Dance Competition 2020 – Results

Well done to everyone who took part in the competition, we have seen brilliant pieces of Dance produced and we could tell how much work and effort have been put into these despite the difficult circumstances school had to face again this year. Congratulations to the winners, who were from New Hall School, Mayville High School and Leighton Park School.

A word from our judge Natalie Bareham, Director of Performing Arts and Head of Dance at Arts Ed London: “It was a delight to adjudicate this year’s ISA Dance Festival, as indeed it is every year. Given that we have all danced in isolation for many months, gathering – albeit via the internet – to share dance work felt all the more significant and joyful. It is clear from the wonderful range of work that even when we couldn’t get into a studio, dance was still taking place; creativity and technique were developing and growing…Thank you for every step that was taught by your incredibly hard-working teachers this past year. Thank you for every movement rehearsed by dancers in whatever space they could find.”
