Interviewing Using Values (aka Warner Interviews)
This course takes safer recruitment training to a higher level and aims to enable interview panels to understand how to assess safeguarding competencies which test appropriate motivation, boundaries, emotional awareness and ability to safeguard. Participants will learn how values can be built into the interviewing process to get a better understanding of personal suitability of candidates and how their own values can affect decision making. With plenty of practice around interviewing for values, participants will be able to hone their techniques to bolster their assessment processes.
It aims to ensure that anyone on a recruitment panel is confident in their ability to make appropriate recruitment decisions for those wishing to work with vulnerable children.
This course is particularly suitable for anyone recruiting staff to work with children where there is a residential element of the provision.
