Independent School in Grantham

Grantham Preparatory International School is a non-denominational day school for boys and girls between the ages of three and eleven.  The school was established in 1981 in Grantham and moved to the modern purpose-built building in October 1986.  It is set in nearly four acres of grounds and playing fields and being close to the A1, it is easily accessible.  The school was owned by a number of local families but since 2004 is now one of a number of schools within International Education Systems Ltd.

IES’s mission is to provide excellence in education provision within an international perspective.  Here at Grantham Preparatory International School we are “Committed to Excellence” in all areas of the curriculum, and we aim to provide the best for all our children in a happy family environment.

We believe that every child is an important unique individual that should be valued and nurtured during their time with us.   An independent education is about providing a depth and quality in the curriculum and the provision of a bespoke education that is tailored to a child’s individual need.

We expect that our children leave us at 11 as independent, confident individuals, tolerant of others and well prepared for the next stage of their education.
