Meadowbrook Montessori School is a unique child-centred school that provides a highly individualised education. For over twenty-five years Meadowbrook has been one of the few Montessori schools in England that educates children from 18 months to 11 years. We provide an innovative but robust marriage of Montessori practice and the National Curriculum for boys and girls and our graduates move on to some of the best schools in the South East, in both state and private sectors.
Meadowbrook benefits from being part of the Independent Schools Association which represents the Heads of over 370 of the UK’s best independent schools. ISA works closely with Headteachers and with other professional bodies to promote excellence in independent education and Meadowbrook staff benefit from high quality training opportunities available whilst pupils enjoy an extensive programme of local and national Sporting, Arts and Cultural events.
We are a small school in Berkshire with small classes to ensure that our highly experienced staff are able to spend the time needed to develop the whole child. In addition to our Montessori ethos, the application of Positive Discipline© helps us to guide your child from Parent and Toddler classes through pre-primary and primary departments and onwards to successful graduation.
Meadowbrook is also home to the Montessori Training College which runs fully accredited part-time courses in Montessori teacher training.
We also pride ourselves on offering highly specialised teaching and excellent support for dyslexic children too, making us one of the best specialist dyslexic schools in Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
We are perfectly located for students throughout Berkshire, including Ascot, Windsor, Oxon, Henley on Thames and Maidenhead. We are also within reach for some areas in Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire such as Henley-on-Thames or Marlow. If you would like to visit us please do get in touch.
