Bridges to Africa 10K Walk
Registration is now open for the seventh annual Bridges to Africa, a 10k charity walk for secondary schools held in London on 20th May.
The event is organised by PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools) and helps to raise funds to build new schools in Zambia and Uganda. Over the years PEAS have raised over £100,000 to help launch new sustainable secondary schools in Africa.
The event, which crosses 10 London bridges between Vauxhall and Tower Bridge, is a great opportunity to join hundreds of other teachers and students for a fun day of sightseeing.
Bridges to Africa was designed by teachers, and organised with schools in mind. Register your school today, and you will receive a Link Teacher Pack complete with sponsorship forms, letter home templates and risk assessments. The Pack also includes DVDs and music to use in assemblies, and a full 6 week scheme of lessons to use in Citizenship classes.
