• Art Competition
    The ISA National Art Competition is held annually. It is a wonderful opportunity for schools to showcase their pupils’ art and for teachers to share best practice and ideas. There are dozens of categories that cover different age groups and genres, from 2D art, through to fashion and photography.
  • Comic Strip Competition
    The ISA Comic Strip Competition encourages pupils to create their own storyboard or cartoon as a means of exploring a topical subject. This competition is open to key stages 1-5, and there are different themes for each age group
  • Sports Cover Design Competition
    The ISA Cover Design Competition is a great opportunity for pupils to create art in response to a brief. Each year, pupils are invited to design the images for the front cover of the programmes for ISA Sports’ national events. Copies will be seen by more than 1,200 spectators. This competition is open to all ages, and a design will be chosen for each sport; Athletics, Swimming, Triathlon, Tennis, Football, Hockey, Netball and Cross Country
  • Film and Digital Art Competition
    The ISA Film and Digital Art Competition is held annually. It is a fantastic opportunity to use both creative and technical skills to produce digital art. Our three categories, Computer Animation, Short Film, and Digital Art, offer a range of ways for pupils of all ages to explore and showcase their work.
  • Platinum Jubilee Design Challenge
    The ISA Platinum Jubilee Design Challenge encouragee pupils to get creative with any art form and celebrate Elizabeth II’s 70th year as Queen. Students of all ages were invited to submit a design based around the number 70.
  • Calligraffiti Competition
    Calligraffiti is an art form popular around the world that combines calligraphy with graffiti. ISA is inviting pupils from KS3-KS5 to explore how they can use text to create art, and submit artworks inspired by calligraffiti.
  • Museum Competition
    Budding curators have the chance to create their own exhibition for our ISA Museum Competition. Students will need to create a plan for an exhibition on a subject of their choice that is both visually appealing and informative to audiences.
