National Arts Coordinator (music, art, performing arts) [full time]

National Arts Coordinator (FULL TIME)

An exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts and education, with excellent organisational skills. Principal purpose of the post: To support, develop and promote the ISA national arts programmes for pupils (visual arts and performing arts such as music, drama, dance, creative writing, digital art and more).

The Association: ISA has a small team of staff working to support the Heads of nearly 800 independent schools. Our schools are diverse and largely challenge the common stereotype of what an independent school is like.

Salary range: £24,771 - £28,850; plus 7% pension contribution
Contract: Permanent Contract (with probationary period) and subject to checks that include the right to work in the UK.
Hours of Work: 35 hrs per week (plus one hour unpaid lunch break), Monday to Friday, though flexibility is expected, including occasional weekend working. Usually 9-5, but some flexibility.
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per annum, plus up to 8 bank holidays. Holidays must be taken outside of published school term times.
Location: Great Chesterford (Essex/Cambridge border), plus occasional Association events offsite.
              The role involves occasional travel nationally, sometimes requiring overnight stays

NATIONAL SEND COORDINATOR (FULL TIME)

Do you have a strong background in SEND and a passion for supporting inclusive practice across a range of school contexts? ISA is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to work alongside our Director of Education in supporting member schools with high-quality, evolving SEND provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to national networks, share best practice, and help schools navigate the ever-changing SEND landscape.

Contract: Permanent Contract (with probationary period) and subject to checks that include the right to work in the UK.
Hours of Work: 35 hrs per week (plus one hour unpaid lunch break), Monday to Friday, though flexibility is expected including occasional weekend working. Usually 9-5, but some flexibility.
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per annum, plus up to 8 bank holidays. Holidays must be taken outside of published school term times. Also, possibility of termtime only contract (39 weeks per year).

HEAD OF SEND (PART TIME)

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for inclusive education and deep expertise in SEND? ISA is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to shape and lead national SEND support across our diverse network of member schools. This is a unique opportunity to influence practice, contribute to policy dialogue, and drive innovation in SEND provision across both specialist and mainstream settings. Salary: Up to £50k salary# for part-time contract, plus 7% pension contribution.
    #This figure is after pro-rating
Contract: Permanent Contract (with probationary period) and subject to checks that include the right to work in the UK.
Hours of Work: Part-time (flexible, to be agreed, possibly c.3 days per week). We would welcome applications for termtime only working. Usually, 9.00 – 5.00, incl. one hour unpaid lunch break. Monday to Friday, though flexibility is expected including occasional weekend working.

Holiday Entitlement: Pro rata of ISA standard 25 days per annum plus up to 8 bank holidays. Holidays must be taken outside of published school term times. Option for additional unpaid leave during school holidays, by agreement; or a termtime only contract (39 weeks per year).
