LVS Ascot motto shines brightly as pupils earn superb A Level results
‘Exceed expectations’ is the motto at LVS Ascot and that rings no truer than today after pupils from the Berkshire boarding school celebrated marvellous A Level results.
LVS Ascot is a co-educational day and boarding school for 4-18 year olds, committed to inspiring young people to exceed their expectations through a rounded education.
Despite national expectations for results to drop, as grading returns to pre-pandemic levels, the overall pass rate at LVS Ascot has increased to 96%.
Students have experienced remarkable journeys during their time at LVS Ascot, Charlotte for example, who joined the school in reception, earned incredible results of an A* and two As. She will now attend Royal Holloway, University of London to study History.
Charlotte is so grateful for the opportunities LVS Ascot provided:
“LVS Ascot was a really welcoming environment, and the staff have always been great. I had many opportunities to try different things, including sport and drama.”

In another of many success stories, Josh is heading to the University of Birmingham to study Maths with Computer Science after also achieving an A* and two As.
Josh added:
“The teachers were very approachable, and they made the lessons really engaging and enjoyable for all levels.”
Christine Cunniffe, Principal of LVS Ascot – one of three schools part of the Licensed Trade Charity, bids farewell to the cohort, for now, and is so proud of the ‘fortitude’ they’ve displayed:
“We are so proud of all our pupils who have shown such fortitude and resilience, especially when considering the unique circumstances of the pandemic they had to endure in their education. Every one of them should be so proud of their outstanding results.
“We are delighted that our pass rates have increased this year, this is a testament not only to our students but our excellent staff. We bid a fond farewell to our students for now, but we look forward to hearing all about their successes in their future studies and careers.”
