‘Music Production to Apprenticeships’ – Plenty on the horizon for Bridgewater School pupils after impressive A Level and BTEC results

Once again, students at Bridgewater School in Worsley earned a sensational 100% pass rate in their A Levels.

Success extended beyond A Levels as students also celebrated impressive accomplishments in vocational BTEC courses.

Bridgewater School is a co-educational day school for pupils aged between 3 and 18 years old. A vibrant, inclusive community, the school is a place where every child is known and recognised throughout their unique learning journey.

The vibrant and unique nature of Bridgewater’s student body is reflected in the pathways that they’ve chosen to explore, with many venturing off to university to study courses from Computer Science to Music Production.

Apprenticeships remain a popular choice for those coming out of Drywood Hall, the school’s home, as young people pursue careers in Mechanical and Civil Engineering.

Vicky Hilton, Head of Sixth Form, commended the cohort for outstanding results in what was their first taste of traditional exams:

“Of particular note is the fact that this cohort of students had never before experienced an external examination series, making their achievement even more commendable.

“With an impressive number of all grades falling within the A*-B range, our students’ dedication to their studies shines very brightly indeed.”

Bridgewater School attributes its consistent success to an environment where every student’s potential can flourish.
