The annual National Gymnastics Championships is a one-day competition which encompasses both girls and boys of primary school age ie Under 11 and Under 9.
All team members perform on four disciplines: set floor & set vault, plus voluntary floor and voluntary vault. The scores are then totalled to give a team score and also individual scores. Rules are mainly based on the I.S.G.A. 4 Piece competition and can be found on this website under the Entry Information section.
There is also a separate synchronised Group Sequence competition for girls in both age groups.
An Over 11 girls’ salver is competed for by invitation, if time and space allows.
If new schools interested in entering this competition have further queries, please email Competition Secretary and Founder, June Walden: firstname.lastname@example.org
