National Governing Bodies

The annual National Gymnastics Championships is a one-day competition which encompasses both girls and boys of primary school age ie Under 11 and Under 9.

All team members perform on four disciplines:  set floor & set vault, plus voluntary floor and voluntary vault. The scores are then totalled to give a team score and also individual scores. Rules are mainly based on the I.S.G.A. 4 Piece competition and can be found on this website under the Entry Information section.

There is also a separate synchronised Group Sequence competition for girls in both age groups.

An Over 11 girls’ salver is competed for by invitation, if time and space allows.
