This course will give opportunity for delegates to:
- Observe a filmed lesson and review the impact of the teaching on the learning as inspectors will do;
- Consider how the evidence is gathered;
- Discuss the use of self-evaluation and interviews, and have opportunity to ask questions
Course aims:
- To understand the requirements of compliance and quality inspections
- To prepare the documentation required for inspection
- To prepare the school for inspection, including a sample lesson observation
- To use the inspection process as part of improving outcomes for pupils
