Learning relies on memory. Stored memories create the basis for learning by linking new knowledge by association. Three processes are involved in memory: encoding, retention and recall, with various factors influencing these processes, including cognitive processing styles.
This course will include practical activities to enable you to adapt your teaching strategies to use different types of memory, to enhance learning and drive progress.
