Vision

ISA is a registered charity that represents the Heads of over 600 schools. Our aim is to support our Members in every aspect of their vital work in the world of education, which we have been doing since 1878.

Competitive salary

We believe hard work should be rewarded. We offer a competitive salary and have an annual pay review. All roles are placed on a salary scale, which provides a structure of performance-related increments in the first years of employment.

Generous holiday

We provide a generous holiday allowance, so you can enjoy your time off. Our standard holiday allowance for full-time roles is 25 days annually plus up to 8 bank holidays. We have three additional days of office closure between Christmas and New Year.

Please note: Usually annual leave must be taken during school holidays, when we are much quieter.

Drinks and snacks

Colleagues working at HQ have constant access to fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, ice lollies and other treats.

Friendly

Our small team (15 at HQ, plus 7 remote workers) is committed to collaborative working. Each colleague and team has their own accountabilities, but there are lots of opportunities to work together towards the shared vision. One of the fundamental values of the Association is fellowship and friendship.

Health and wellbeing

Our employee assistance programme (through Health Assured) provides confidential support and resources on a wide variety of issues. It also includes access to counselling services, when necessary.

Pension Plan

ISA is committed to helping you save for retirement. Our standard company pension contribution is generous. We currently use the NEST pension plan.

Well-equipped, spacious office & some flexible working

Our colleagues benefit from a modern, spacious working environment, which is kept well maintained.
