Join Rebecca Andrews-Walker, a Partner from Penningtons Manches Cooper, in a session that explores key elements of financials for schools.
The finances of a school, whether a charity or otherwise, are bespoke in many ways to the schools sector. They have the foundations of a normal business model/company and then very specific overlays that address the schooling industry. Be that restricted funds, advance fees and deposits, or accounting elements that relate to the day to day running of a school, these things make schools' financials a little more complicated.
In light of the current economic pressures on independent schools, knowing how to get the best out of your school's finances is key: how to recognise trends and patterns and how to comply with the duties on a school that relate to its financial management.
The objective of this course is to provide tools and knowledge to assist Senior Leadership roles in having maximum confidence in their financial management, modelling, compliance and futureproofing/troubleshooting early.
Rebecca has been advising independent schools for a number of years on these issues and welcomes you to an interactive session.
