Who should attend?
The course is suitable for Heads, Bursars and other senior managers involved with the management of staff and those who may be involved in difficult conversations.
This course is designed to provide attendees with a toolkit for dealing with difficult conversations with staff and independent third parties (for example parent complaints). The session will explore management techniques for disciplinaries, grievances and performance issues. It will also consider methods to resolve complaints raised by parents.
Attendees will learn:
- Different techniques for difficult conversations
- How difficult conversations may be avoided
- Strategies for difficult conversations.
