Neil Roskilly – Chief Executive Officer
Karen Goddard – Office Manager and PA to the CEO
Karen has had a varied career, including in the cricket industry, computer hardware manufacturer, financial advice and music publishing (OUP), since completing her German degree. Before joining ISA in 2013, she most recently worked for eight years in secondary schools in the maintained sector. She enjoys spending time gardening, attending music concerts and learning languages (for fun!) In her free time she volunteers at the local cinema, with the St Mary’s church choir and with the Sunday School at the Baptist Church, where her husband is the Minister.
Peter Woodroffe – Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Peter is a Christian and serves as a trustee in his local church, is married to Liz, and father of Hannah, Thomas and Emily. Peter loves working for ISA and enjoys building relationships with, and supporting our members. Peter’s first degree and PhD were in maths and he can occasionally be found indulging himself in mathematical puzzles. Peter also enjoys keeping the office tidy by consuming any abandoned biscuits or cake.
Susan Hughes – Senior Membership and Accounts Assistant
Before joining ISA, Susan worked in the Equity Department for a large Investment Bank for many years. After relocating from London to Cambridge she took some time out to be a stay at home mother to her two children. Susan joined the ISA in 2015, working in the Membership and Accounts Department. As a keen runner and exerciser, she regularly has the office performing a plank, wall sit or going on a lunchtime run. Susan likes to remind everyone not to take life too seriously.
Joanne Snow – Membership and Accounts Assistant
Previously working in London, Jo moved to Saffron Walden 12 years ago and took time out from work to spend with her two daughters and her pet Maltese dog. She enjoys yoga, spending time with her family and being creative by making purses in her spare time.
Jo is very much enjoying being part of the membership team and supporting the finance Committee.
Melissa Skelton – Events Officer
Melissa is originally from the US, although is frequently mistaken for being Irish. She is loving working at ISA and filling in for Alice, taking advantage of all of the perks, including using up all the left-over course food to feed her three greyhounds. Melissa’s other hobbies include manually pumping up car tyres, and speaking very quietly to make Peter think that he is going deaf.
Jennie Quillen – Senior Marketing and Events Assistant
Jennie was studying Business Administration and working in Customer Services at a Children’s Entertainment Centre, when she found her passion for marketing. She was able to create a new marketing role within her organisation, and worked on developing the company’s campaign strategies for a further 2 years before moving to ISA. Jennie’s enthusiasm for marketing has only grown since then, and she recently enjoyed completing her Level 3 Qualification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Being half American, she aspires to one day live in New York City or California.
Helen Marks – Marketing and Events Assistant
Working for 15 years for an international investment bank in London, Helen organised high profile corporate events and client hospitality. In 2011 her husband’s job prompted a move to Dubai where she lived the expat life for a few years but, tiring of the sun, she returned to the UK and joined ISA. Outside work she likes to spend her time on the sidelines watching her twin teenage sons play rugby, hockey, cricket…
Marie-Ange Moncuy – National Arts Officer
01700 800 368
Originally from France, Marie-Ange studied Performing Arts, Marketing and Communication in Paris. She travelled around Australia for a year, before moving to England. Olivia Still – National Arts Assistant
Olivia has a passion for the Arts, having trained at Drama School, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Acting. Over the years she has sung in bands, worked with companies providing backing vocals, as well as featuring on Sky One in an a cappella group. A newcomer to Saffron Walden, Olivia is looking forward to getting to know the area and to getting married later in the year.
Scott Brand – National Sports Officer
Scott is an avid sportsman who came over from Zimbabwe in 2009 after representing his country in water polo, and his county in rugby, hockey and swimming. Scott graduated with a BSc (Honours) Sport, Fitness and Coaching degree from the Open University.
Emily Ward – National Sports Assistant
Before joining ISA, Emily worked for the Lawn Tennis Association for nearly 10 years, with a particular focus on developing regional competition provision and is now looking forward to working across a multitude of national sports. As a keen tennis player, she enjoys competing in local leagues (come rain, shine or snow) and organising social events for her tennis club in Great Dunmow. Emily also enjoys hitting the golf course, putting on her running shoes and cooking for friends and family.
