Samantha has spent her 25-year career working in education in the UK, Dubai and Hong Kong. She has extensive experience of Primary education, with a particular expertise in the Early Years. She is a qualified Transformational Coach.
Samantha began her school leadership journey at Prospect House School in Putney as Deputy Headteacher (Early Years and KS1), before becoming Headteacher of Haresfoot School in Hertfordshire. She then joined the Senior Leadership Team of the Berkhamsted Schools Group as Headteacher of Berkhamsted Pre-Prep. Her move into International education took her to Dubai where she was the Founding Principal of Ranches Primary School growing the roll from 40 to over 600 children in four years. She was one of the UAE’s Educational Influencers in 2017.
Samantha has also worked for Harrow International Schools Limited based in Hong Kong as the Director of Lower School Education. In this role, she was involved in setting up five new Harrow Schools and five Early Years settings.
Samantha returned to Headship in 2021 taking up the reins of Kellett Prep School in Hong Kong until relocating to the UK to launch her education consultancy; Steed Education.
Michelle Winter joined ISI in September 2021 having previously worked at Ofsted for 11 years as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI). This included leading inspections across maintained schools and academies, non-association independent schools, British schools overseas and initial teacher education. Michelle was also a Senior HMI for six years, managing a team of HMI and with leadership responsibilities including for the quality of inspections across the East of England region. Prior to joining Ofsted, Michelle was the headteacher of two London schools.
Dr Kathy holds a LL.B., Masters and Doctorate in Social Science (Criminology) from the University of Cambridge and worked for many years as a policy researcher and research fellow in education. She is the co-author of two books for school staff on “Engaging Parents” (Bloomsbury, 2018;2020) and a sought-after keynote speaker. In 2018, she founded Tooled Up Education: a digital library of evidence-based resources for parents and teachers, on all aspects of parenting, education and family life.
Dr Weston works with a team of researchers who collaborate with some of the world’s most eminent researchers. By having access to the most up-to-date research findings, Tooled Up is able to bridge the world of research with real-life by curating and developing usable tips, activities and advice that can empower parents or those who work with children. This unique, digital library grows in response to requests from schools and parents, making it a powerful hub of most relevant content in the educational space today.

She manages the UK’s largest National multi academy trust and is responsible for Cambridge University’s products and services including OCR, CEM, Cambridge University Press and Cambridge International, spanning early years to post 16.
Lucy is Assessment Advisor for CEM at Cambridge Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM).
Lucy is a former primary school teacher. She has taught in two different schools in the South of England and worked in years groups Reception to Year 4. She has been a subject lead for Math's, History, Religious education and Outdoor learning. Lucy has mentored trainee teachers and conducted staff training for professional development.
Emma is the Deputy CEO of the ADHD Foundation Neurodiversity Charity. With a specialism in developmental psychology, Emma has a real passion for early identification and intervention for Neurodevelopmental Conditions.
Emma works collaboratively with professionals across all age groups and sectors, supporting them to develop their understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and to develop neurodiverse friendly practices within their sector.
Chris has been with CEM since 2003. Beginning as a biological scientist, he has worked on vaccine development and studied gene sequencing among other topics. After gaining his PGCE in Science Education at Hull University, Chris spent fifteen years teaching IT and Business Studies. He also holds Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and English and Master’s degrees in Education and Education Assessment.
In 2007, he was awarded his Doctorate in Education at Durham University with a thesis entitled ‘Metalearning: PGCE Students Learning about Learning’. A dedicated lifelong learner, Chris has interests in all aspects of learning, from creating new assessments to researching characteristics of student knowledge and understanding. He currently co-chairs the Research Ethics Committee of Cambridge University Press and Assessment
