As a school leader, an important part of your role is to encourage others and empower them to impact learning both directly and indirectly.

During this one day course you will have the opportunity to extend your knowledge of what it means to share  leadership and the distinction  between delegated and distributed leadership, develop skills on how to do this so others can be empowered and an understanding of the impact of this.

We will focus on how to create a "Circle of Safety" within your team, creating trusted relationships to empower your team colleagues to take positive action and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.

We will look at ways you as the leader can create a less dependent  team, by "Asking First" allowing team members to have more agency in their actions and so getting the best from your team.
