Suitable for: The course is intended for staff who have a responsibility for ensuring and monitoring compliance in their schools. It would also provide a useful insight for governors who have an oversight responsibility for such areas.
The course takes delegates through each section of the regulatory framework, providing guidance on understanding and interpreting the regulations and will include consideration of EYFS requirements and boarding standards, alongside the ISSRs. With an overview of what inspectors look for and how the process works, the course will provide information on how delegates can build a convincing bank of evidence to demonstrate their compliance.
Aims of the course:
The aim of the course is to provide delegates with a secure understanding of regulatory expectations and how to prepare for demonstrating compliance.
What will you learn?
Delegates will be able to leave the course with the confidence to guide staff in sustaining compliance, develop their evidence base to demonstrate this and have a better understanding of how compliance is inspected.
Course tutor: Chris Sanderson
Feedback from previous delegates
“The course provided a very clear navigation through the documentation – which I have found difficult to understand since it has been renamed! I came away with a clearer understanding of what we need to check to ensure we are fully compliant.”
When asked which parts of the course delegates found most valuable they said:
“Checking of our own documents”
“Identifying areas to review on returning back to school”
