Suitable for: This course will be valuable for colleagues who have a senior academic leadership role in primary, prep or senior schools.
This course aims to enable delegates to undertake an evidence based review, planning and delivery process for a whole school curriculum. To ensure effectiveness and relevance in preparing pupils for future learning, fulfilling work and social engagement.
The day begins with asking some fundamental questions about the ‘what and the why’ and takes delegates through the process of curriculum coherence, implementation and finally by asking “how well are we doing?”.
What you will learn:
- How to plan an integrated and holistic curriculum
- An understanding of the current curriculum debate and which elements should inform content and delivery
- The processes used to evaluate curriculum delivery and outcome
