ISA Awards 2025: Winners Announced

Each year, ISA celebrates the outstanding achievements of its Members’ schools with the ISA Awards. The Association prides itself on diversity of accomplishment and the awards are a key part of recognising that excellence.

The Awards Ceremony is held each year in Kenilworth, as part of the Autumn Study Conference. This year the ceremony was hosted by the a cappella group, Sons of Pitches. They brought the audience together with improvised harmonies and well as renditions of pop classics before turning to the business of announcing this year’s winners.

The ISA Award for SEND School of the Year went to Beech Lodge, a specialist school that has focused recently on pupil wellbeing and a values-based curriculum. To win the award, the judges said, they created a Zen Den, as part of their sensory integration curriculum to help self-actualisation and learning readiness.

The winner of the Junior School of the Year Award went to Forest Park School, who radically altered their approach to collaborative learning and the sharing of progress data with children and parents.

King’s High School Warwick won the ISA Award for Senior School of the Year with a classically outstanding entry, with judges praising their record results and superb sporting opportunities. Their community partnerships, including a pioneering cross-sector multi-academy trust were also noted.

Chief Executive Officer of the ISA, Rudolf Eliott Lockhart, commented: “This is a fabulous set of winners. In all cases, the schools have shown themselves to be outstanding in their category. These winners show the different ways that independence can be used to meet the different and specific needs of pupils.

“The ingenuity of the respective staff members that entered The Awards, some of them relatively new to their position, shows the enterprise of independent education.

“Once again, this year proves that there is the potential for every type of school to excel within the ISA Awards. They showcase the cultivation of ability at all levels of the school community.”
