Cross Country

Event Announcement

The welfare of fans, players and staff is our utmost concern and it is crucial to get these important decisions right. ISA believes that having athletes, coaches, officials and staff travelling from all over the UK at this challenging time is not something that we are willing to risk. It is with great regret that the ISA National Cross Country Championships at Worksop College on Friday 20 March 2020 is CANCELLED. The deterioration of the Covid-19 situation has led to the event been cancelled.

A lot of hard work from everyone goes in to organising and preparing these National events, so this decision has not been made lightly. We know how much preparation staff and young people put in to the build-up of such events, but we are sure that you understand and appreciate the current situation. Please pass on our apologies to all the very talented young people who earned a place with your school to compete at Worksop College. They all deserve to be commended for their achievement.

We hope that you support this decision and understand that we are trying to do the right thing for all those involved. We hope that you continue to support this competition and we look forward to hosting you all again next year.

PLEASE HELP: PASS THIS STATEMENT ON TO ALL RELEVANT CONTACTS (colleagues and pupils’ parents).
