Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming both society and the economy. Acquiring the skills and understanding of how to coexist and collaborate with AI is increasingly essential for everyone.
This one-day training, specifically designed for school leaders, provides a comprehensive toolkit for developing a school community that is confident in engaging with AI technology—maximising its benefits while mitigating risks.
The morning session will focus on creating a culture where teachers, staff, and students can safely and responsibly experiment with AI, enriching your school's learning environment. We'll dedicate time to hands-on experimentation and exploration of practical use-cases, followed by guidance on crafting an AI policy that aligns with your school's values. Additionally, we'll discuss effective strategies for sharing best practices and facilitating open dialogues about AI between teachers and students.
In the afternoon, we'll delve into the broader societal and economic implications of AI. Through interactive workshops, we'll explore ways to integrate these considerations into your curriculum, enabling students to engage in meaningful discussions about the responsible use of AI across various contexts.
By the end of the day, you’ll be equipped with everything you need to lead an AI-confident school, from innovative use-case ideas and AI policy guidelines to actionable plans for new curriculum content and student engagement strategies.
