Aims of the course:

To provide those considering the role of Deputy Head with a comprehensive understanding of the skills required; a consideration of the differences between Deputy Headship in small and large prep schools and an appreciation of the varying aspects of the role itself.

What you will learn:

  • What personal skills do you personally need to improve upon in preparation for Deputy Headship?
  • How the role differs depending on the school’s size and structure
  • Where are your current respective strengths and weaknesses and is Deputy Headship the right move?
