Suitable for: PAs, Reception staff and other admin or support staff
Aims of course
To equip PAs and Reception staff on how to recognise the early stages of a critical incident and understand what action they need to initiate in the Golden Hour that will enable the school to manage events.
The day will identify the 4 key phases of a critical incident pathway and then focus on the first two phases where speed and urgency are required.
The course will explore who is best placed to make decisions in these phases and how to then escalate potential risks to the school’s management team.
The practical application of these concepts will then be explored using table scenarios, giving participants the confidence to react calmly and correctly to sudden, dramatic events.
