Who should attend?

This course is suitable for all those working with children between 3 – 7 years of age.

The course provides a combination of theory and practical content, underpinned with evidence based practice, to raise the profile and impact movement has on all developmental areas. The programme will include a mix of group discussion and independent activities.

Aims of the course:

To understand what maths REALLY looks like (maths is all around us) and to make maths concrete and tangible.

Delegates will learn:

  • activities to support mathematical concepts
  • sequencing, time; past, present and future
  • counting rhythm
  • reflection on practice
