Who should attend?

English coordinators and Primary teachers – Early Years to Year 6

Following last years successful course with Nicola Powell, Director of Primary Matters, we are offering another day looking at successful teaching of English in the Primary Classroom.

Aims of the day:

  • To deepen knowledge of how to plan and teach the English curriculum for your Year group around quality texts
  • To see how to plan a term’s English within a connected learning journey
  • Collect fresh ideas for teaching fiction and non fiction reading and writing
  • Leave with a stunning term’s learning journey for each phase of the Primary age range
