Structural Learning
Paul’s professional interests lie firmly in the science of learning. All of his work has focused on finding out how children learn most effectively and then sharing this with his network of schools and teachers. His community use his research and resources to inform classroom practice and make learning accessible to everyone.
After several years collaborating with NFER and Curious Minds, he set up his own practice, Structural Learning. He now creates his own classroom tools and publishes frameworks to a broad spectrum of global schools. His overall aim is to help children think critically and to take more ownership of the learning process. The mantra that keeps him focused is ‘learning is learnable’; we all have the ability to think creatively and problem solve effectively.
