Making an application to Cambridge or Oxford is always a challenge – for an aspiring student and their family, and, just as often, for academic staff supporting pupils and students in schools and colleges. Recent changes to A level structure and further changes to admissions assessment will all add to the challenge faced in autumn 2017. The workshop offers an insight into these changes and revisits key questions surrounding Oxbridge application: what qualities in applicants are the universities looking for and what is the best way for an applicant to prepare?

The day will be a mix of presentation, discussion, and workshop – delegates are encouraged to bring their individual questions and come ready to share their thoughts and experience.
